Dixie Lee Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Agreement to Terms

The following Dixie Lee Gift Card Terms and Conditions (the “Dixie Lee Gift Card Agreement”) describe the terms and conditions that apply to the use of any Dixie Lee physical, digital, or in-app gift card. By buying, loading, or using a Dixie Lee Gift Card, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

This includes:

Conducting the transaction electronically
Accepting the disclaimer of warranties and remedy limitations
Binding arbitration
Choice of law under general terms

Authorized Use

Purchasing

Gift cards can be purchased using valid debit/credit cards or, for physical cards, also with cash.
Payment methods are subject to change at Dixie Lee’s discretion.

Use Restrictions

Canadian-purchased gift cards can only be used in Canada.
International purchases are restricted to the country of purchase.
Gift cards can be used at participating restaurants, the website, or via the mobile app.
Daily purchase limit: $10,000 CAD or USD.
Cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, redeemed for cash (unless required by law), or transferred for value.

Refund & Expiration

No expiration date
No service or dormancy fees
No refunds or cancellations allowed after purchase

Lost, Stolen, or Unauthorized Use

Dixie Lee and its affiliates are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused cards.
Cards should be treated like cash.

Marketing & Promotion

Use of cards for promotional or marketing purposes requires written approval from Dixie Lee.

View Balance

Balances are estimates and may be delayed.
Check balances online (Canada Balance Checker) or at a participating restaurant.

Physical Dixie Lee Gift Cards

Available at restaurants, online, or authorized retailers
Shipped within 5 business days (if ordered online)
Not valid if purchased through unauthorized sellers

Limits:

Max load: $250 CAD or USD
Cannot be reloaded
Can transfer balance to a digital gift card (but not back)

Digital Dixie Lee Gift Cards

Purchase via local country website
Balance can be transferred to another digital card
Reloadable in Canada (may vary in the US)

Limits:

Max load: $250 CAD or USD

In-App Dixie Lee Gift Cards

Dixie Lee may change or terminate the program at any time
Amendments are posted online and effective immediately unless otherwise required by law

Notice of Amendments

If required:

Written notice will be sent at least 30 days before taking effect
You can cancel or request a refund before the amendment takes effect

Dispute Resolution

Arbitration

All disputes are subject to binding arbitration, unless prohibited by law
Canada: Conducted by the Canadian Arbitration Association in Toronto
US: Conducted by the American Arbitration Association in Dade County, Florida

Governing Law

Canada (excl. Quebec): Ontario provincial and federal laws
Quebec: Quebec provincial and Canadian federal laws
US: State of Florida

If arbitration is not allowed:

Legal action must be filed in the courts of the relevant jurisdiction

Severability & Language

Invalid clauses are severable; the rest of the agreement remains effective
English version controls in case of inconsistencies

Fraud & Corrections

Dixie Lee may correct account errors or reject fraudulent cards
